Our Story
It was never part of the plan.
Paris, November 2019.
Claire had stopped at a little bookshop in Le Marais on her way home from work. It was raining, she was late, and all she wanted was to find a birthday present for her sister.
Adrien was already there, standing in front of the photography section, trying to decide between two books.
They reached for the same one.
Claire laughed and told him she had been looking for that exact book for weeks. Adrien offered it to her. She refused. He insisted. She finally agreed — on the condition that he recommend a good café nearby.
An hour later, they were still talking. About photography, old films, places they wanted to visit, and why the best meals always seemed to happen when nobody was in a hurry.
Before they said goodbye, Adrien wrote the name of his favourite café on the back of the bookshop receipt. Underneath it, he added his number.
Claire kept that receipt. She still has it today.
The years in between.
Their first date turned into Sunday markets, long walks along the Seine, dinners with friends, and spontaneous weekends in places neither of them had ever visited.
Claire, an art director with a weakness for beautiful details, taught Adrien to notice the little things.
Adrien, an architect who believes the best spaces are the ones that bring people together, taught Claire that not everything needs to be planned.
Together, they built a life full of shared rituals. Morning coffee in bed. Fresh flowers on Fridays. Cooking dinner with music playing in the background. And a promise to always make time for another adventure.
The question.
In September 2025, they returned to Provence, a region they had fallen in love with during their first summer holiday together.
Adrien had arranged a quiet evening at a countryside house surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. After dinner, he asked Claire to take a walk with him.
The sky was turning pink, the air smelled of lavender, and the last sunlight rested on the stone walls. He stopped beneath an old tree and took her hand.
There was no elaborate speech. No audience. Just the two of them, exactly where they wanted to be.
Adrien asked Claire to marry him. She said yes through happy tears, then laughed because she had completely forgotten to look at the ring.
That evening, they stayed outside for hours, talking about the life they wanted to build. And the wedding they would one day celebrate with everyone they loved.
That day is finally coming.
And we can’t wait to share it with you.
